Our Vancouver Photography Studio is Next to Little Treasures (but not their store on Broadway)

We often get emails and phone calls wondering where we are located... well, we are on Granville Island, inside the Kids Market on the second floor. To be really specific, we are next to Little Treasures (this used to be the location of Everything Wet). Please note that Little Treasures also have a store on Broadway... we are located next to their Kids Market location.

A little bit about our neighbour, they have wonderful things for little ones and for moms. Little Treasures is full of adorable shoes, clothing, and accessories for little and older children. There is even stuff for moms! Even before the little one arrives, you can select stylish Kecci Diaper Bags, strollers by Maclearen and Quinny, and stroller accessories. For protection from the rain and sun, they offer Lettucebee and Kidorable rain suits, and O'Neill, No Zone, and Dolphin sun suits.

Free Halloween Event at Kids Market - Oct. 29 from 11am to 3pm

It's Halloweenie time! Get all dressed up as your favourite "make believe" character! There will be free hot dogs and hot chocolate for anyone in a costume. All the stores will be handing out treats too. Enjoy musical entertainment by Staccato Studio and a free magic show sponsored by Clownin Around Magic.

Kids Market - stores with Canadian made toys... all near our Children & Baby Photography Studio

ToyBox Studio is located at the Kids Market on Granville Island.

The Kids Market is a fun filled market designed to be the destination for unique children's boutiques. Many of the stores here carry locally created Canadian and European made clothing and toys. In addition to our children's & baby photography studio, you will find toys, clothes, shoes, a children's hair salon, and a play area with big ball pit and arcade.

There are two full floors of shopping and fun for grandparents, moms, dads, babies, children and anyone young at heart. Plus there are always fun and free activities going on here, at Granville Island - come visit!

Newsletter re: Christmas package deadlines, home sessions, and Rainbow Rewards to go out soon

I've been working on our newsletter and hope to get it out soon! We've been working on the new backgrounds, getting them posted on our website etc... The newsletter will announce our Christmas deadline (Nov. 30th), home sessions, and Rainbow Rewards Program.

All the Kids Market merchants have got together to support the Rainbow Rewards Program for our mutual customers so for every $100 spent (before taxes), you get $5 back in a form of a gift certificate to spend at any of the stores here! It has been great having our photo studio at the Kids Market on Granville Island... it really is a neat place and wonderful community.

Holiday Backgrounds for Children & Baby Portraits

I can't believe it is already October! This nice weather makes it harder to think about Christmas and the Holiday season but I did go buy some hats, scarves, and mitts from the local baby and children's store in Vancouver.

I also picked up some fake snow for our new winter & Christmas portrait backgrounds... I can't wait to get creative with all the new props for our baby and children photography!
